Wide sandy beaches, sailing and seafood along the Cotentin coast, with Granville a favourite for a day trip.

Normandy is butter, cheese, cider and calvados country. Village markets are the best way to fill the kitchen.

Green lanes, river valleys and marked trails start close to the house, with the bay paths a little further out.

Rock pools, farm visits, forest walks and a pool at home for the hours in between.
